Wunder Tonic Description
Wunder Tonic is a general aquarium treatment used to cure common freshwater fish diseases such as whitespot, finrot, tailrot, and fungus. It contains active ingredients including Methylene Blue, Acriflavine, Malachite Green, and Quinine. A standard 50ml bottle is priced at approximately $16.99 NZD.
Usage and Dosing Instructions
- Day 1: Add 1 mL per 20 litres of water (or 1 drop per litre).
- Day 3: Perform a 25% water change, then add 1 mL per 30 litres.
- Day 7: Do another 25% water change and place fresh activated carbon back in the filter.
Important Cautions
- Filter Carbon: Remove activated carbon from your filter while treating.
- Side Effects: Wunder Tonic may harm live plants and stain tank silicone.
- Fish Stress: If fish appear sick or uncomfortable, perform a 50% water change immediately.
