The Gold White Cloud Mountain Minnow (Tanichthys albonubes "Gold") is a small, hardy freshwater fish that grows to 3–4 cm. It features a bright yellow-gold body and vibrant red fins, making it a visually stunning addition to any aquarium. As a peaceful coldwater fish, it thrives without a heater, making it an excellent choice for beginners and planted aquariums.
Care Requirements
- Tank Size: Minimum of 40 litres for a small school.
- Water Temperature: 14–22°C (prefers cooler water; avoid heat above 25°C).
- Water pH: 6.0 to 8.0.
- Behavior: Active shoaling fish; keep in groups of at least 6 to 8.
- Diet: Omnivorous; accepts flakes, micro-pellets, and frozen or live foods.
