Luohan Rock, also known as Elephant Skin Stone or Dolo stone, is a highly textured, naturally weathered limestone or dolomite popular in freshwater aquascaping. It features deep grooves, wrinkles, and craters resembling an elephant's hide, and ranges in color from light grey to dark brown.

Characteristics and Use

Appearance:

• Features rugged, wrinkled surface patterns and dimples.
• Ideal for mountain-style rock scapes or for tucking in small aquatic plants.

Water Chemistry:

• Contains limestone/dolomite, which can slowly raise the aquarium's pH, general hardness (GH), and carbonate hardness (KH) over time.

Preparation:

• Should be thoroughly rinsed or soaked in water to remove loose dust and debris before adding it to an aquarium.
