Danio kyathit, also known as the orange-finned danio or ocelot danio, is a small, active freshwater fish native to fast-flowing streams in northern Myanmar.

Size:
- Grows to about 1.5 to 2 inches (3.5 to 5 cm) long.
Appearance:
- Features 5 to 7 dark horizontal stripes or spots along the body.
- Displays bright orange-red fins, especially in males.
Behavior:
- Highly active and peaceful schooling fish.
- Best kept in groups of 6 to 10 or more.
Water Conditions:
- Thrives in temperatures between 20–25°C (68–77°F).
- Prefers a pH range of 6.0 to 7.5.
Diet:
- Omnivorous; accepts high-quality flake food, micro-pellets, and frozen or live foods like daphnia.
