The Glowlight Tetra (Hemigrammus erythrozonus) is a peaceful, hardy freshwater schooling fish native to the Essequibo River basin in Guyana, South America. It is easily recognized by its translucent silvery body, which is beautifully crossed by a glowing, iridescent orange-red stripe running from its nose to its tail.
