The Elephant Ear Halfmoon Male Betta is a stunning ornamental strain of Betta splendens that captivates with its unique features and vibrant personality.

Key Features:

• Oversized "Elephant Ear" Pectoral Fins: These fan-like, thick side fins ripple gracefully, resembling elephant ears.
• Majestic Halfmoon Tail: The tail fin spreads out in a perfect, symmetrical 180-degree semicircle, creating a striking visual.
• Vivid Coloration: Available in shades of red, blue, metallic, pastel, and bi-color combinations, these fish are bred for their intense hues.
• Aggressive Posture: Male bettas display a wide beard and vibrant flash when flaring, adding to their dramatic appeal.

Size and Behavior:

• These fish grow to approximately 4–5 cm in length.
• Due to their high aggression, they require solitary housing and should not be kept with other male bettas or fin-nipping species.

Care and Environment:

• Tank Size: A minimum of 19 liters (5 gallons) with heating and filtration is recommended.
• Water Flow: Ensure the filter has a very low flow to prevent exhaustion of their large fins.
• Resting Spots: Provide broad silk plants or betta logs near the surface to allow them to rest without heavy dragging.
• Companions: Keep strictly solitary; avoid housing with other male bettas or aggressive tank mates.

This exquisite fish is a perfect choice for enthusiasts seeking a vibrant and unique centerpiece for their aquarium.
