Mixture of Aquatic Moss Species
Mostly Java moss, this blend of aquatic moss species is a versatile and beautiful addition to your aquarium.
Care Requirements
- Lighting: Low to moderate; high light levels can trigger unwanted algae growth.
- Temperature: 15°C to 30°C (ideal range is 20°C to 25°C / 59°F to 86°F).
- Water pH: 5.0 to 8.0.
- Nutrients: Minimal needs. It absorbs organic waste from water and benefits slightly from liquid fertilizers.
Placement and Uses
- Attachment: Tie or glue the moss to driftwood, rocks, or mesh using cotton thread, fishing line, or aquarium-safe glue until its rhizoids anchor it.
- Aquascaping: Create lush green carpets, walls, or natural coverings for hardscape features.
- Fauna Protection: Offers essential hiding spots and biofilm grazing areas for shrimp, snails, and newborn fish fry.
Whether you're an aquascaping enthusiast or looking to enhance your aquarium's ecosystem, this aquatic moss blend is an excellent choice!
