API Copper Test

This test determines the Copper levels in ponds and aquariums, which is important to ensure copper levels are healthy for plant photosynthesis and to prevent anemia in fish. (NB Copper may be introduced to your tank water from your tap.)

Copper is a treatment for many parasitic infections, however, must be monitored in aquariums and ponds. If the copper level drops too low, treatments may not be effective, or subsequently, if they increase too high, may be detrimental to fish health.  This test allows you to accurately monitor copper levels to maintain copper-based fish treatments at therapeutic levels.

The test tests copper levels from 0 to 4 ppm, and measures both free and chelated copper.

The test is designed to be used in fresh aquariums, saltwater aquariums and with ponds.
