Anubias Nana Bonsai (Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai') is an extremely compact, slow-growing aquatic epiphyte ideal for nano tanks, foreground scaping, and attaching to hardscapes. It features tiny dark green leaves, requires low maintenance, and thrives without CO2.
Lighting:
Low to moderate (10–40 µmol PAR). High light causes green spot algae on its slow-growing leaves.
Placement:
Attach to driftwood, rocks, or decor using thread or aquarium glue. Never bury the rhizome as the plant will rot and die.
Water Parameters:
CO2 & Nutrients:
Not required, though low CO2 and liquid fertilizers promote faster growth.
