Preparation and Safety
- Washing/Soaking: Like most natural hardscape materials, the rock should be thoroughly rinsed or soaked in clean water to remove dust or debris prior to placement.
- Water Parameters: Test how the rock affects pH, KH, and GH over 24 to 48 hours in a bucket of treated water. Some highly textured or calcium-based cavity rocks can slightly harden water parameters.
